The Curiosity Trap
There's something about an old view camera that draws people in. They stop, stare, and ask questions — and sometimes, they let me take their portrait. I call it the “Curiosity Trap.” Over time, I realised the people who paused weren’t random. They were outgoing, curious, and bold enough to strike up a chat with a stranger and then step in front of a big, slow, serious-looking camera. This series is made up of those spontaneous meetings — each image a friendly collaboration between strangers.
